Ambition

Steam Up aims to improve energy efficiency in large industries. The focus is on industries that use steam and electric motor systems that have the highest energy-saving potential in this sector, approx. 70% of the total energy-saving potential.

The project  takes the lessons learnt from the past into account and offers an innovative approach to involve high level management, supported by in-depth audits and a tailored training programme.

Within the project, Steam Up seeks to achieve energy saving of 55,6 GWh/year. The ambition on the long term, is to reach the full saving potential and contribute to a clean and energy efficient European  industry.
